Creative Industries
The creative industries are a major employer in Camden. We aim to povide pupils with a taste of opportunities available.

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Dream Weaver, Flash) Students will use a range of skills in a design project using industry standard software. The project can be used to produce coursework in D and T, Media Studies, English, Art and Photography.

Stop Motion Animation and Game Design
A one day project to design a 2 and 3-D Game or a Stop Motion animated movie.

Researching University courses
From a university prospectus in print to the same on the internet. This one lesson is aimed at equipping Year 9, 10 or 11 students to research University courses and to find out what is available. They will also be introduced to the idea of a conditional offer, sometimes with subjects specified, both grades and the UCAS tariff. Help can also be given with Personal Statements.

Financial Literacy
An innovative course to introduce young people to the idea of managing money.

Web Untangler - Developing information literacy skills
The Internet is much more complex than most students realise! Skills covered include researching more effectively, checking the validity of sources, being aware of what counts as plagiarism.
