| Natural Disasters Videos Pupils prepare an investigation into Earthquakes and record it as a TV documentary using
Green Screen Technology.
The focus of the day will be on using cross-curricular skills and will also involve Functional Skills and PLTS including
- Decision Making
- Interpretation of Data to be presented using Excel
- Presenting to an unfamiliar audience using an appropriate register
Working in groups the pupils will:
- research an aspect of the topic
- gather images
- convert raw data into graphical representations
- write a script for video and radio broadcast
- present their findings to camera
