Pupils prepare an investigation into a Natural Disaster and record it as a TV documentary using Green Screen Technology.

The focus of the day will be on using cross-curricular skills and will also involve Functional Skills and PLTS including

• Decision Making
• Interpretation of Data to be presented using Excel
• Presenting to an unfamiliar audience using an appropriate register

Working in groups the pupils will:

• research an aspect of the topic
• gather images
• convert raw data into graphical representations
• write a script for video and radio broadcast
• present their findings to camera
