You are invited to attend the ThinkUKnow internet safety training session for Camden. The course is a ‘Training for Trainers’ event for anyone working with 5-18 year old children to enable them to deliver training on Internet safety to the Young People they work with. The event will be hosted by South Camden City Learning Centre
The morning training includes:
- Introduction to Internet Safety
- ThinkUKnow training programme
- Useful resources
- Guide to what our children are doing online
- All attendees will be certified to deliver the resources and be registered to access the online CEOP materials.
- The briefing also includes guidance and suggestions about how you can disseminate the training in your school or organisation.
The afternoon session has been added as a result of feedback from our previous events
- Hands on exploration of some popular social networking sites
- New OFSTED report on E-safety
- Awareness of cyberbullying issues
- Ideas for developing your school or centre’s internet safety policy
Each School or organisation can send 2 representatives to the training event, for which there is no charge. They should be those people who will be responsible for implementing and delivering the internet safety training at the school - usually the Child Protection officer.
