Throughout the week of 6th – 10th July students and staff at South Camden Community School came off timetable to take part in their 1st ever Arts Week. Students got to experience projects which ranged from silversmithing to fashion to camping, all of which developed creative learning skills such as problem solving, taking risks and developing imaginations. The week involved partnerships with over 15 practitioners and local organisations such as The Roundhouse, London Zoo and the V&A Museum. It culminated in a fashion show, street dance performance, photography exhibition, cooking competitions and a performance of live theatre and film.
Here is a variety of films and a gallery of photos that give you an insight into some of the projects during Arts Week. Thanks to all Students and Staff for their hard work throughout the week.
